BoA + CAA / Hallyu - Part Deux - The Second Coming

Korean Superstar singer BoA has signed with mega-agency CAA to represent her for
stateside music and film opportunities. As many of you well know, BoA has been
working hard on her English album with the hopes of using that as a platform to
crossover into the USA. Frankly for my money, I'd pay to see BoA even if she was
mute.
For those of you who aren't in the "industry," the entertainment industry that is, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) is Hollywood's version of the 800lb gorilla, meets the Deathstar cross breed with the Borg - whether good or bad, they are monolithic in terms of being the definitive Hollywood talent agency - Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise are on their client rosters. Still, it will be interesting to see if their clout makes any difference in being able to create Korea's first true crossover star. CAA has signed top Korean talent before with very little to show for it but of course none with the dripping sexual charisma of BoA. Let's hope Richard Lovett (one of the heads of CAA) takes an active hand in ordering his minions to work hard on Boa's behalf.
